Hi, my name is Julia, I'm in love with photo editing since 2011. I started my career as a graphic and web designer, and at the same time I was interested in the field of photography and retouching. Since 2019 I've gone completely into the retouching business. The main focus of my work is portraits. I've worked with shoots in many different genres: fashion, beauty, lookbook, business portrais, children portraits, model tests, catalogs, advertising. I have publications in L'Officiel, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE and other magazines. On this site, you can find my works, terms of cooperation with me, and contact me.
I make portrait retouching of any complexity, from basic to high-end. But my main principle as retoucher is to keep photography in its natural state. I preserve the texture of the skin and human anatomy, do not make plastic faces with blurred skin. At the same time, I try to remove all possible defects from the photo and make it look perfect.
How to make an order
— Send me a message, you can use contact form on this site, or my e-mail julivolgunova@gmail.com. Describe your task and attach some photos or send me cloud service link. Also let me know your deadline if you have one. If you have references, please send them too. That way I can better understand what kind of result you're expecting.
— I'll calculate the price of the job. The price depends on the task, complexity and type of photo. I also will give you payment instructions, you will be able to pay for your order by card or via Stripe.
— After the payment I start work. I usually send one photo first for retouching and color approval. When I'm done, I'll send a link to all the pictures. You'll be able to make edits if you need to.

What type of retouching work I offer:
— RAW-convertation in Capture One Pro: white balance, contrast, saturation, elimination of parasitic tones, skin tone leveling.
— Skin retouching: removal of imperfections, tone levelling, dodge-and-burn from natural to high-end level.
— Retouching of clothes: removing wrinkles, fabric smoothing, silhouette correction.
— Background retouching: removing superfluous objects in the background, cyclorama cleaning, refinishing missing background.
— Liquify, correction of body imperfections.
— Hair retouching: cleaning flyaways, eliminating excess strands, filling in gaps, adding shine and volume, complex retouching with drawing hair.
— High-end retouching: clearing squirrels, teeth, work with makeup, correction of lips contour, eyebrows, eyelashes retouching, manicure retouching.
— Color grading: selection of a harmonious color scheme for the photo.
— Clipping objects including complex such as waving hairs.
